Public Bank Berhad has partnered with REVENUE Group Berhad to launch the all-in-one digital payment terminals on 8 November 2018 at Menara Public Bank, Kuala Lumpur.
 
The first all-in-one digital payment terminal in Malaysia, developed by REVENUE, simplified the payment acceptance process as it enables the physical retail merchants to accept both card payments and mobile wallet payments in a single digital payment terminal thus providing convenience to them.
 
Among the Public Bank’s valued merchant partners who attended the launch were AA Pharmacy, Alpro Plus Pharmacy, Hong Kong Sasa, L’occitane and Popular Bookstore.
 
REVENUE’s all-in-one digital payment terminals can handle mobile Quick Response (QR) code payment services including Alipay, Boost, Touch ‘n Go, UnionPay QR and WeChat Pay, as well as card payments such as Visa, MasterCard, MyDebit, JCB and UnionPay, making payment management simpler and more efficient for physical retail merchants.
 

Public Bank launched the Red Carpet Banking (RCB) Exclusives and PB RCB Mastercard Premier Debit Cards on 7 December 2018 at W Hotel Kuala Lumpur which marked another important milestone for the Bank in growing the Bank’s high networth customer base.
 
Present at the launch were Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Tay Ah Lek, Managing Director of Public Bank Berhad, Dato’ Chang Kat Kiam, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Public Bank Berhad, Mr. Perry Ong, Mastercard Country Manager of Malaysia and Brunei, together with Ms. Chan Chiew Peng, Senior General Manager of Retail Financial Services.
 
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Tay in his welcome speech, briefed the audience on the Bank’s RCB development and future plans.
 
In conjunction with the launch of the RCB Exclusives, two (2) new PB RCB Mastercard Premier Debit Cards namely PB RCB Elite Debit Card and PB RCB Gold Debit Card have also been launched. Both are served as the membership card for RCB members and allow customers to earn VIP Points on their retail purchases to redeem items or AirMiles points through PB Redemption Catalogue. Three exclusive campaigns have been launched for PB RCB Mastercard Premier Debit Card cardholders i.e. Bonus Activation of up to 10,000 VIP Points, 5% Cash Back on Online and Overseas transactions and Complimentary Access to Plaza Premium Lounge in Malaysia.
