For the financial year of 2023, the Public Bank Group achieved a pre-tax profit of RM8.54 billion and net profit of RM6.65 billion.

The stable profit performance was mainly attributed to the continued growth of loans and deposits, as well as the improvement in non-interest income and lower loan loss allowances. This global economy involves most major economies such as the US, euro area and Japan.
